OneDrive by Microsoft is an Android app that allows users to send large files of different types to other devices across the globe. To do this, the app offers a simplified interface that allows quick uploading of any files to the cloud. From there, the files are automatically synced and downloaded by the recipient device (or devices) in a shared folder that can only be accessed by the parties involved. Streamlined and straightforward, this file-sharing process makes OneDrive incredibly practical for users of all demographics.

OneDrive consists of a hub that houses its main functions. Namely, it allows users to send and receive files, as well as seeing a history of all transfers. In addition, this hub functions as a catalog of sorts that allows visualization of all available files. Apart from showing all existing files and completed transfers, OneDrive's main hub offers a real-time view of transfers that are currently taking place. Thankfully, users can monitor their activity at all times, and they are required to accept or decline any transfers from unknown users.

In terms of design, OneDrive is sleek and elegant. Its tiled interface is very reminiscent of Windows 8 in all the good ways. At any one time that the app is open, users are able to see browse their files and folders while the basic controls are visible at the top of the screen. Without a doubt, this makes the app incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, resulting in quicker and easier transfers that do not require a great deal of technological expertise.
